The scholarships offered by the Plastics Pioneers Association to qualified applicants may now be applied for at THE SPE Foundation Scholarship Program.

Undergraduate:
- SPE
The SPE (Society of Plastics Engineers) Foundation offers numerous scholarships to students who have demonstrated or expressed an interest in the plastics industry. They must be majoring in or taking courses that would be beneficial to a career in the plastics industry. This would include, but is not limited to, plastics engineering, polymer science, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and industrial engineering. All applicants must be in good standing with their colleges. Financial need is considered for most scholarships.
- ASM
Established in 1952 through a grant from ASM International, and supported by individual contributions, the ASM Materials Education Foundation provides for the advancement of scientific and engineering knowledge through its support of education and research. The Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Program is administered by the ASM Action in Education Team.
- SME
Since 1998, the SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers) Foundation has provided over $1 million dollars in financial aid through its various scholarship programs. The Foundation awards scholarships and fellowships to graduating high school seniors and current students pursuing degrees in manufacturing and related fields at two-year and four-year colleges.

The NSF (National Science Foundation) makes grants and awards in all areas of science, mathematics, and engineering education. Programs of the Division of Graduate Education promote the early career development of scientists and engineers by offering support at critical junctures of their careers. This approach is designed to help assure a steady flow of diverse, high-ability students through the educational and research training systems by providing fellowships and traineeships.
